Dr. J. Arden Blough MD

J. Arden Blough, M.D. is Medical Director of The Broadway Clinic and founder of the Weight Loss for Life program. He is also a member of the American Society of Bariatric Physicians.

Dr. Blough knows firsthand the challenges people face when trying to maintain good health. He has experienced it personally through BHRT and weight loss. He recognizes the importance of restoring hormones to optimal levels and incorporating a healthy lifestyle. He encourages patients to achieve their goals through medically supervised treatment in a caring atmosphere.

As Medical Director of The Broadway Clinic and Optima Weight and Wellness, Dr. Blough provides BHRT and medically supervised weight loss programs. 

After graduating in 1994 from the University of Oklahoma College of Medicine at the OU Health Sciences Center, Dr. Blough practiced family medicine in Ponca City, Oklahoma and worked as an emergency room physician.  He is affiliated with the American Medical Association, Oklahoma State Medical Association and American Society of Bariatric Physicians. He is also Medical Director for Mariposa MedSpa in Oklahoma City and Edmond, helping ensure spa clients receive advanced solutions to their skin rejuvenation and body sculpting.

Allyson Heffington, PA-C enjoys helping others reach their weight loss and health goals. She is a nationally certified physician assistant.

Ms. Heffington earned her Master of Health Sciences degree as a physician associate from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2002. Since earning her degree, she has practiced in a number of specialties, including orthopedic surgery, urgent care medicine, family medicine, legal medicine, medical aesthetics and weight management.

Ms. Heffington is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants.  She is currently board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants.

Ms. Heffington is married with two children.


Kory Reed, PA-C, MHS

Kory Reed, PA-C, MHS, Broadway ClinicKory Reed, PA-C, MHS, has over 13 years of experience in the medical profession, specializing in orthopedics and injury management.

Mr. Reed graduated from Oklahoma State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Health Promotion in 1997. He earned a Masters of Health Science Physician Assistant degree from the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center in 2001.

Mr. Reed is currently board certified with the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is a member of the Oklahoma Academy of Physician Assistants as well as the American Association of Physician Assistants.

Mr. Reed is married with two children.


Anna Cottle, N.P.

Anna Cottle, N.P. graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing from the University of Oklahoma in 2007.  Anna worked as a nurse in the ER of Deaconess Hospital until returning to nurse practitioning school in August of 2009.  Cottle graduated from Vanderbilt's Adult Nurse Practitioner Program in 2010.  

Ms. Cottle is certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is a member of the North American Menopause Society.

Bethany Cook, APRN has eleven years of healthcare experience and is passionate about the success of her patients. She has incorporated the benefits of BHRT for both male and female patients in her practice.

Ms. Cook graduated from Texas Woman’s University in 2003 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing. In 2005, she received a Woman’s Healthcare Nurse Practitioner’s license at UT Southwestern. She earned a Master of Science in Nursing at Texas Woman’s University in 2008 and received Nurse Midwifery Certification at Frontier Nursing University in 2011.

Pamela Gore, D.C. came to The Broadway Clinic because she saw the value of its multidisciplinary facilities. She has persistently contributed to the success of her patients. One of her most rewarding experiences involved the treatment of a young child who had recently been in a car accident. He was potty-trained but he started wetting the bed after the wreck. Dr. Gore discovered that the child was suffering from a lower lumbar subluxation. After making some adjustments and treating the problem, the child’s bedwetting stopped completely.

Dr. Gore graduated in 2001 with a Bachelor of Science. In 2003, she received her Chiropractic degree from Cleveland Chiropractic College in Kansas City, Missouri.

She is the mother of twin girls.
