After 8 years of planning and several months of construction, the OKC streetcar project is very close to launching! This is another step in the direction of urbanization and metropolitan ingenuity for Oklahoma.  And on your way to The Broadway Clinic, you’re likely to get a front row seat to view all the action!

The Oklahoma City Streetcar, or OKC streetcar, is another addition to OKC’s vibrant culture, with its modernized transportation, eccentric colors and scenic downtown route. There are two Bermuda Green streetcars, two Clear Sky blue and three Redbud that can each seat about 100 people.

As part of EMBARK’s family of transit services, the streetcar unites all things downtown OKC in 22 stops. The streetcar system can cater to your downtown transportation needs, whether you need to use it for work, food, attractions or home.

The streetcars are set to run from 6 a.m. to midnight Monday through Thursday and 6 a.m. to 2 a.m. Friday and Saturday. Need to make it to a Sunday Thunder basketball game? Special hours will be designated for special events downtown, such as concerts, Thunder games and conventions.

The fare is only $1, and discounted passes are offered to those who use it regularly. Each streetcar offers a family-friendly environment, juxtaposing adventure with convenience.
